Campaigns may be undertaken to create public awareness for specific issues of importanct to the retailer, to promote the retailer's business, to accounce new store/web site openings, to educate the public and many other purposes. Campaigns are most typically associated with demand generation for a retail business. Campaigns are typically composed of more limited sets of activities referred to as CampaignPromotions in the ARTS data model.
